Viola I. Boyle

Viola Isabel Boyle, age 90, born in Standish, Michigan to Frank and Isabelle Janssen passed away June 18, 2022, quietly in her home surrounded by her family.

Viola moved to Detroit at age nine. After high school she worked as a librarian before getting married to Joseph Pioquinto Boyle on May 21, 1949, at the age of seventeen.

Viola had twelve children Michael, Penny, Patrick, Joseph, Daniel, Victor, Mary, Susan, Kathleen, Mark, Richard, and Thomas. She was blessed with twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. It was a full-time job raising her twelve children, along with being a den mother, volunteer playground assistant, and using her handy skills with tools, power tools included, to do repairs around the home. Viola was also an active member at Christ the King with the Church Eucharistic Ministry. She loved dancing, concerts in the park, card games, and casino trips with Bev; but most of all she loved spending time and having fun with her family and friends.
