Ruth B. Truss

Ruth B. Truss of Ft. Myers, Florida passed away March 11, 2026 at the age of 87. She was born July 12, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Nellie Vergeldt. Beloved wife of the late John Truss. Loving mother of John Truss and Robert Truss. Dearest grandmother of John (Chloe) Truss and Maria Marie Truss. Dear great-grandmother of Lyla Mae and Theo Nox. Ruth was predeceased by her parents and her siblings John (Donnie) Vergeldt and Edward (Bea) Vergeldt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, March 20, 2026 from 2 pm until time of funeral service at 7 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154. A private interment will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan.
