Robert Whiteaker, of Canton, sadly passed August 27, 2026. He was born July 14, 1952, to Robert and Dolores (Niekert) Whiteaker.
Caring husband to Linda; Continued friendship with Julie Okeefe; Lasting partnership with Norma Robbins. Dear father of Jennifer (Tyler) Steben; grandfather to Sydney and Ryan; Caring older brother to David Whiteaker and Dawn Whiteaker; beloved uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and also a great brother-in-law. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends and multiple business partners.
Robert is predeceased by his parents.
Visitation for Bob will take place Tuesday, September 8, from 4:00 – 8:00PM, with a rosary at 7:30PM, at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 45100 Warren Rd, Canton, MI 48187. Instate Wednesday, September 9, 10:30AM until the time of mass at 11:00AM at St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy Catholic Church, 8200 North Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48185.
