Rita Jean Rakowicz, age 87, passed away September 16. Loving wife of 63 years to Leonard. Cherished mother of Gary (Theresa), Steve (Anna), Greg (Kelly), the late Robert, John (Carol), Diane (Doug) and Kenneth (Cintia). Beloved grandmother of Garett, Gregory, Angela, Jackie, Vicki, Gretchen, Joey, Brad, Matt, Stephanie, Rachel, Morgan, Sarah, Leah, Jade, Sean, and Lilly. Dearest great grandmother of 11 and great great grandmother of 1.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5-9pm, at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 30200 Five Mile (Between Middlebelt and Merriman). A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 9:30am at St. Aidan Catholic Church 17500 Farmington Rd. Instate 9am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Heart Association.
