In Loving Memory of Ricky Patterson

Ricky Patterson of Livonia passed away August 9, 2026 at the age of 51. He was born September 20, 1974 in Detroit, MI, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish him.

Ricky lived life with a love for high speeds, loud engines, and the simple joy of being surrounded by the people he loved. He had a deep passion for fast motorcycles and could often be found working on cars, always enjoying the challenge of making an engine faster and getting the most performance out of it. Among his greatest sources of pride and joy was his GT350 Shelby Mustang—a car that represented his love for speed, power, and the things that made him happiest.

While Ricky had many passions, nothing compared to the love and pride he had for his daughter. Her recent high school graduation was a milestone that meant so much to him, and he was incredibly proud of the young woman she had become. His love for her was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Ricky will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his passion for cars and motorcycles, his love of family, and the unmistakable energy he brought into the lives of those around him. Though his passing was unexpected, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Proud and devoted father of Ireland Patterson. Best friend of Nicole Patterson. Cherished son of Richard and Jane Patterson. Loving brother of Jennifer (Dominic) Wojczynski. Beloved uncle of Hailey and Alexis.

A memorial gathering will take place Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 3 pm until time of memorial service at 6 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154.
