Richard Egerer

Richard Egerer of Livonia passed away October 15, 2026 at the age of 76. He was born December 30, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Richard Egerer and Jean Schneider-Gatley. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Egerer. Loving father of Tammy (Michael) Muns and Christopher (Elizabeth) Egerer. Dearest grandfather of the late Stefanie Muns, Heather (David) Huber, Emily Muns, Matthew Egerer, and Kayla Egerer. Dear great-grandfather of Isabella, Lucille, and Logan. Brother of Denise Gately and Cheryl (the late Donald) McGowan. Richard is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

Visitation Thursday from 3-8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154. Instate 10:30am until time of Mass at 11am at St. Genevieve – St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison Street, Livonia, Michigan 48154. Interment will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
