Richard "Dick" Bachman

Richard “Dick” Bachman of Redford, Michigan passed away November 13, 2022 at the age of 82. He was born in Cadillac, MI to John and Elvira Bachman. Dick proudly served in the US Army. Beloved husband of the late Patricia for 55 years. Loving father of Scott (Janice) Bachman, Craig Bachman, and Beth Bachman. Dear grandfather of Sarah Bachman. Dick graduated from Cody High School in 1958. He spent nearly forty years in the banking business, most of that at Manufacturer's Bank. Dick was an active member of St. Valentine Church for over forty years and, early on, had served as an officer in the St. Valentine Men’s Club. He enjoyed playing softball with the bank and church leagues, and was an avid golfer into his later years. He loved traveling, watching sports and spending time outdoors, where yardwork was his zen. He will be missed, but will forever remain in our hearts. Visitation Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 1-7 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154. Instate Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:30 am until time of Mass at 11 am at St. Valentine Catholic Church, 14841 Beech Daly, Redford, Michigan 48239.
