Nikki Helene Phillips

Nikki Helene Phillips, of Livonia, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She was born on April 9, 1957, to Jack and Estelle Williams.

Nikki was the beloved wife of Claude, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Brenda Phillips and her husband, Timothy Cubbison, and Shannon Ng and her husband, Kayu Ng. She was a loving grandmother to Charlotte Ng, Finnegan Ng, Rowan Cubbison, and Eliot Cubbison. She is also survived by her sisters, Jacqueline Menard and Vicki-Alysse Mervyn. Nikki was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Estelle Williams, and her brother, Robert Hayes Williams.

Nikki was a steadfast and loving partner who supported Claude throughout his 20 year military career. She was a constant presence at home, taking care of the many things that kept their family going while being there for their girls through every stage of their childhood. She gave freely of her time and herself, volunteering at the base hospital, church, and countless school events.

Throughout the girls’ school years, Nikki could often be found volunteering in their classrooms, joining field trips, and finding ways to be involved in their lives and the lives of those around them. She never sought recognition for all that she did. Helping others simply came naturally to her.

Nikki will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and easygoing nature. She had a warmth that made people feel comfortable and cared for. Even through the difficult and trying last few years of her life, she remained remarkably optimistic, choosing to focus on the good. Her quiet strength, selflessness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed.
