Mary Anne Kuehnel

Mary Anne J. Kuehnel of Canton passed away October 14, 2023, at the age of 79. She was born September 16, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Joseph and Martha Podrasky. Mary Anne was the beloved wife of Gerald H. Kuehnel for 53 wonderful years. Loving mother of Lisa Marie (Bruce) Ely and Linda Anne Kuehnel. Dearest Mema to her grandchildren, Charlie Ely, Brendan Ely, and Aidan Jaski-Kuehnel. Dear sister of the late Catherine (the late Edward) Doody, the late Thomas Podrasky, Peter (the late Jean) Podrasky, Michael (Laura) Podrasky, and Joseph (LuAnn) Podrasky. Adored sister-in-law to Gerald’s siblings, cherished aunt to several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will take place 10:30am Friday November 3rd at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton, Michigan 48188. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
