Mary Agnes Noetzel

Mary was born on September 1, 1933. She passed on April 26, 2023. Beloved wife of Sylvester of 67 years, loving mother of Nancy (Mike) Kelly, Dan (Susan) Noetzel, John (Debbie) Noetzel, Rose Mary (Joe) Spellman and Mary Kay (Chris) DeBrito. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 5. Treasured aunt, sister, and dear friend to many.

Mary loved spending time swimming, sunning & boating at the West Twin Lake cottage in Lewiston, Michigan in summer and at The Royal Floridian on the Atlantic Ocean of Ormond Beach, Florida in winter. Mary liked traveling very much and over the years enjoyed seeing the United States, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, France, Switzerland, Geneva, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Cruising the Mississippi River and visiting many of the Caribbean Islands was also great fun. Other interests were jewelry making, cake decorating, picture puzzle making, browsing the internet with her iPad, playing cards, playing board games, sewing and attending Club meetings to socialize with friends like the K of C Seniors, Elks, Young At Heart, and State 50. Mary was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. She liked to joke and make people laugh.

Visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Turowski Funeral Home, 45100 Warren Rd., Canton on Friday, April 28. She will lie in-state at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Rd., Canton from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Mass at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. Mary will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
