Mark Wallace of Livonia died, surrounded by family, January 14, 2021 at the age of 51. He was born December 22, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Livonia later moving to Redford and graduating from Redford Union in 1988. He worked at Commonwealth Industries and ran his father’s restaurant Elmers in Detroit. He loved all dogs, especially his own and was the life of the party and enjoyed concerts and his music loud. Beloved husband of Melissa whom he shared 17 years with and adored. Loving father of Hunter Wallace. Dear stepfather of Kyle Williamson. Adored son of Leonard and Karen Wallace. Dear brother of Janis (Tabitha Traycik) Wallace and Christine (Joseph, Jr.) Stumpo. Son-in-law of John and Lori Adkins. Brother-in-law of Bill (Marcy) Adkins. Uncle to Tyler and Sydney Stumpo and Lily Adkins. Mark will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including those he worked with at Detroit Diesel for 21 years. Visitation Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 3 pm until time of service at 7 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile, Livonia, Michigan.
