Lawrence J. Kapanowski

Lawrence Kapanowski, age 78 of Livonia, Michigan. Beloved husband of Michele for 56 years. Loving father of Kevin (Cristine), and Greg (Heidi). Dear grandpa of Cory, Kaylee, Brady Stenson, and Brynley Stenson. Brother of Elaine Platovsky and brother in law of Larry Paluch. Uncle of Charlie Platovsky, Justin Platovsky , Eric Paluch, and Kelly Paluch. Also survived by many cousins. A special thank you to cousin Jimmy Kajpus, cousin Bob O'Guin, cousin Gloria Koss, and Babs and Mike Krautner. Member of the West Side Gearhead Car Club of Livonia for over 10 years as well as many others. He will be dearly missed by all. A visitation will be held Sunday, 4-8:00 pm, at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Road (between Middlebelt Rd. and Merriman Rd.), Livonia. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Genevieve – St. Maurice Parish, 29015 Jamison, Livonia on Monday, with an instate 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.

We will be following the latest health guidelines with masks being mandatory and are permitted to have no more than 25 people in attendance at one time for visitations and funerals. Please be mindful while you are here as others may wish to pay respects also.
