Life Story / Obituary
Kevin Colleran of Northville, Michigan passed away August 24, 2026 at the age of 36. He was born April 27, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan.
Kevin was a man who loved life and found joy in the simple beauty of the outdoors. He loved spending time with his pets; Kyah his beloved dog and his cat, Miss Kitty! He felt most at peace surrounded by nature. His compassion extended to everyone he met - Kevin had a gift for making friends wherever he went, and those friendships ran deep. He was loved by many and will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and generous heart.
Throughout his life, Kevin faced challenges with addiction, but his courage and determination never wavered. He fought hard, loved fiercely, and inspired those around him with his resilience. His story is one of strength, humanity, and hope.
Kevin is the beloved son of Donna Colleran and the late Joseph Colleran. He is the Amazing stepson of Kimberly (Tony Parr) Colleran. Loving stepbrother of Christopher (Danesha) Cummins, Rikki (Fadi) Farah, Nicolas (Sarah) Cummins and Richard Cummins. Proud uncle of Zayn, Rayyan and Naomi. Kevin had many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly. Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents Martha and Jerome Colleran and Eugene and Jeanette Piontkowski.
A memorial mass will take place at St. Kenneth Church on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at 14951 N. Haggerty Rd. Plymouth, Michigan 48170. Visitation at 9:00 am with mass at 10:00 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan following mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
