**UPDATE**
The memorial to celebrate Jessica's life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 9:00-10:00am., at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 W. Eight Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan.
We welcome all who wish to honor her memory with kindness, compassion, and stories that celebrate her life. Our hope is that this will be a time of love, remembrance, and comfort for everyone who cared for her.

Jessica Marie Ferguson of Farmington Hills, Michigan passed away May 25, 2026, at the age of 39. She was born July 12, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan to Donald and Carol Ferguson (Kujawa).
Sister, daughter, friend, significant other, & helper, she loved animals, specifically dogs & cats, more than people. She cooked, sang, danced, laughed, & loved, sometimes wildly.
Despite having very little, she often gave whatever she had of money, time, & herself. If she only has $3 in her pocket, she'd give it to a homeless person. Often, she would help Kate, Mom, Leo, Jenny, or Maureen, even at the last minute.
Being born breech with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, they had to dislocate her hip to bring her into this world. A fighter from the beginning, she never let her circumstances stop her from moving forward in life.
Never did we expect that Jessica would be such an amazing teacher of life, love, resilience, forgiveness, & selflessness.
Preceded in death by her father, Donald K. Ferguson; and sister, Amy L. Ferguson; among other beloved extended family members.
Survived by her significant other of twenty years, William Sugg; and his daughter, Summer Sugg; her mother, Carol A. Ferguson; siblings, Michael A. Ferguson; Maureen A. Horan (Joseph Horan); Andrew K. Ferguson; Molly T. Ferguson; Kathleen R. Ferguson (John Artuso); nephews, Zeke Ferguson; Jonah Ferguson; Nathaniel Horan; Leonard Artuso; and niece, Jenny Artuso; as well as numerous fur-babies, including her dogs Lola; Midnight; and Sky.
May she rest in peace.
