Jeffrey FitzSimons

Jeffrey FitzSimons of Oak Park, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2023. He was born October 17, 1978 in Pontiac, Michigan to Jerome and Carol FitzSimons. Beloved son of Carol (Tom) Klavitter and the late Jerome “Fitzie” FitzSimons. Loving brother of Amy (Mark) Hunt, April (Ken) Pittard, Julie FitzSimons, Dan FitzSimons, Karen (Michael) Blake. Cherished uncle of Hannah Pittard, Megan Pittard, Cameron Pittard, Gwen Blake, and Zach Blake. Jeff is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeff worked at Pizza Hut in Southfield, landscaped with Jay Gutierrez, as a Laptop Tech at Computing Express, was a self-employed computer tech (twice) and lastly, in IT for McLaren. Jeff had a plethora of abilities and could accomplish anything he set his mind and hands to. Granted, the parameter from start to finish was determined by “Jeff Time,” and he exceled at procrastination. Whether you knew Jeff for fifteen minutes or fifteen years, please know that Jeff valued you. He was a true and loyal friend, generous to a fault. He knew how to have a good time, whether attending a ball game, movie, concert, karaoke, party or just sitting around a fire, Jeff enjoyed experiences. But I think he would have said the people who were part of his life made it whole. Visitation Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 3-8 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154. Additional visitation Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home.
