Jeff Satterthwaite of Redford passed away peacefully at home in his wife’s arms on December 11, 2025. He was born October 30, 1972 in St. Francisville, Indiana. Beloved Husband of Jen. Cherished son of Charlene Perry. Dearest brother of Kristen (Earnest) Stephens. Loving Uncle of Emilee Alderson and Lilly Stephens. A dear nephew, cousin, son-in-law and brother-in-law. A best friend/brother to many others. He will also be missed by his two fur-babies Sy Malone and Bartholomew James (Bart).

Jeff moved from Indiana to Redford when he was nine years old. After graduating high school, he served in the U.S. Army for several years. Later, he entered in the auto sales industry where he became a skilled auto salesman for at least 20 years. In October 2010, Jeff married Jen. While working in auto sales, he took his occupation very seriously. He always arrived to work earlier than his required starting time and rarely requested time off. Yet, serving in the military is the vocation he is most proud of but very humble about. That was Jeff - humble. He was a humble and kind person, always wishing one a “good day.” He loved to listen to music and was outstanding at “naming that tune” (with a little help from his wife). He was even a karaoke singer of the song “Bad to the Bone” by George Thorogood. Jeff’s favorite sport was football. He never missed watching a Lions game or a U of M game. He also had an appreciation for classic cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles and attended car/motorcycle events with his friends. Jeff was a very charismatic person. He was social, witty, smart and authentic. He was “old school” honoring values that reflected a strong commitment to family, friends, and an appreciation for life and living a good and joyful one to the fullest.

A memorial gathering will take place Friday, December 19, 2025 from 1:00pm until time of memorial service and military honors at 4:00pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154.
