James Arthur Dean of Allen Park, Michigan died May 20, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born February 8, 1941 in Belfast, Ireland to Joseph and Christina Dean. Beloved husband of the late Diane “Didy” Dean. Loving father of the late James “Jimmy” Dean and Theresa (John) Cirocco. Dear brother of the late Joseph Dean, Joy (Jim) Kelly, Bernadette Dean CSJ, and Michael (the late Bonnie) Dean. Brother-in-law of Carol and (the late Roy) Sparks. Cherished uncle of Debbie (Mike) Van Buren, Suzanne Sparks, the Late Christopher Sparks, Jimmy (Kerry) Kelly, Eileen (Rob) Vacca, Maureen (Gary) Young, Timothy (Lisa) Kelly, Patrick (Kim) Kelly, and John (Jen) Kelly. Dear great-uncle to many. James proudly served in the US Air Force in both Germany and the US. Visitation Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4-8 pm with a Scripture service at 7 pm at Neely Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154. Instate Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 10:30 am until time of Mass at 11 am at St. Edith, 15089 Newburgh, Livonia, Michigan 48154 . Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
