Life Story / Obituary

Gloria Huffman went home to God May 31, 2024. There she joins her father and mother Leonard & Pauline Pietrowski, brothers Jim, Bob, and Dan Pietrowski. She is survived by her son Leonard & Sherri (Woodson) Huffman, daughter Gayle & Miguel Morones, grandson Miguel & Mattie Morones and great granddaughter Luna Morones, and granddaughter Gabriela & (Roger Ayers) Morones. And sisters Loretta Taylor and Marie & Bruce Petschke. She also has a very large extended family. There are too many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews to list.

Gloria’s life was always about her family. She was a source of love and care for them. If you talked to her, you heard about them.

When not doing things with and for her family, she had several passions. She was a devout Detroit Red Wings fan who rarely missed watching a game. She graduated from the University of Michigan and was a lifelong fan of their football. She also loved to cook and had some pretty strong opinions about which brands had the best product. Better Made and Coke have lost their biggest cheerleader. She also loved sliders, the real ones, not just any small sandwich (if you know her you know what that means).

Gloria loved a lot and was much loved.
