Edward M. Kolodziej

Edward “Papa” Kolodziej of Livonia passed away November 8, 2021 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Marlene Ruth for 62 years. Loving father of Kathryn Ruth (Lawrence) Rocheleau, and Diane Elaine (David) Hosey. Dear Papa of Ryan Rays, Rory (Rachel) Rays, Kaleigh (Graham) Dresselhouse, Kendra (Jake) Kimmel, Kelcie Rocheleau, Kara Rocheleau, Chelsea Hosey, David Hosey (Amanda Wright), Erica (Tyler Scarr) Hosey, and Parker Hosey. Caring great Papa of Landon, Marlena, Teddy, Raelynn, Kaliana, Rowen, Robin, Savannah, and a baby boy on the way. Brother of Richard Kolodziej. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his parents; Jacob and Katherine, and his siblings; William, Bernice, Max, Chester, and Irene. Edward was a big family man. He enjoyed spending many family vacations up north in Brown’s Landing, as well as going south to Lido Beach in Florida. He was an avid golfer and loved spending that time outdoors. Edward was a numbers guy; he enjoyed his accounting job and watching the stock market. He was loved by so many; his selflessness and great sense of humor will be dearly missed.
