Barbara Zarek

Barbara Irene Zarek of Livonia passed away December 28, 2021 at the age of 73. She was born August 28, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to Felix and Genevieve Milewski. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Angela (Sanjay Dadd) Zarek and Christy Zarek. Dearest sister of the late Theresa Milewski-Sloan, Irene (the late Steven) Milewski-Blackburn, and Mary Ann Milewski. Barbara is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Due to Covid the family has decided to have private family services in an effort to keep everyone safe. They will be livestreaming the rosary and funeral mass from the funeral home website at www.TurowskiFuneralHome.com. The rosary will stream on Saturday, January 8, 2022 starting at 10am and the streaming of mass will follow starting at 11 am. (see links below) Memorial contributions may be directed to either Christy Zarek-Thomas or Angela Zarek, which will be forwarded to a designated charity in Barbara’s name at a later date.
