Barbara Jean Nagi (nee Lewandowski) passed away January 8, 2022. She was born February 25, 1940 in Wyandotte, MI. Beloved wife of 60 years to Stanley and loving mother to Joseph, Mary (Martin) Kelly, Stephen and John. Adored grandmother to Jack and Steve. Devoted and loving daughter to the late John and the late Rose Lewandowski. Dear sister to Mary Ann (Carl) Marshall, Gorden, John (Donna), the late Peter, and late Dennis. Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School in Wyandotte and proud graduate of the Detroit Business Institute. She was employed by Revere Copper and Brass as an Executive Secretary before raising her family. She loved taking trips Up North, biking around Mackinac Island and walking across the Mackinac Bridge. Her family was her light and joy. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 5 Mile Road in Livonia. Funeral Mass Thursday 11:00am with an instate at 10:30am at St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Parish 29015 Jamison St Livonia 48154. The family is requesting masks be worn. A private interment will take place following mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
