Anthony "Tony" Misiak

Anthony “Tony” Misiak of Canton, Michigan passed away March 25, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born December 10, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Anthony and Jessie Misiak. Beloved husband of Luba for 44 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Mark. Dearest brother of Janet (Maurice) Jacques and Sue (Mike) Maher. Son-in-law of Olga Klos and the late Lubomyr Klos. Brother-in-law of the late Roman Klos and Myron (Sandy) Klos. Tony is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and good friends.

Tony graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in 1974 and later took classes at Henry Ford Community College. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Triumph. He also liked to golf, bowl (“All 10 in the pit!”) and garden. A man of many hobbies and skills, he completed a variety of beautiful DIY projects. “We are the fixers” was the motto of Tony and his good friend Jim.

Tony was larger than life. He was always singing and laughing, and so much fun to be around. From a young age he caused mischief with his nieces and nephews and was always their favorite Uncle. There are so many “Tony stories” and wonderful, unforgettable memories that will live on in our minds and hearts. Tony, we will always love you.

A Memorial Mass will take place April 13, 2023 at 11:00 am (Instate at 10:00 am) at St. John Neumann Catholic Parish, 44800 Warren Rd., Canton, Michigan 48187. Luncheon to follow.
