Anne Kathryn Bernard, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away after a brief illness on November 30th, 2024 at the age of 76. She was born on February 16th, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan.
Anne attended Our Lady Gate of Heaven elementary school and graduated from Rosary High School in 1966. Anne had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the choir at Rosary. She was also a natural, talented visual artist, and she attended Wayne State University where she studied fine arts. Anne was a life-long learner, cultivating many hobbies and interests that included reading, gardening, porcelain doll making, stained glass, pottery, and sewing, to name a few! Anne was also a proud civil servant and postal worker for 42 years. She had a kind and generous spirit, and was always willing to lend a helping hand or sympathetic ear whenever she was able.
Beloved wife of Gary Adams; loving mother of daughter Kate Bernard and son-in-law Richard Ahrens. She is also survived by her former husband Lawrence Bernard of San Francisco, California; and a large group of loving friends, old and new. A celebration of Anne’s life will take place at a later date.
