Ann Marie Roy of Livonia, MI passed away August 17, 2021 at the age of 56 after a short, courageous battle with cancer (Leiomyosarcoma). Beloved and devoted mother of Charlesann Roy, Derick Roy and birth mother of Mary Beth Rotenheber. Dear grandmother of Kayla Rotenheber. Cherished sister of Paul (Judy) Roy, Terry Cadovich, Victoria (Nick) Chehade, John (Lynne) Roy, Michael (Laurie) Roy and Charlie (Diana) Roy. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and great nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosalie Roy, sister Julie Cadovich and brother Mark Roy.

While quiet in nature, Ann touched many lives whether it was through her High School (Livonia Bentley) and college (Wayne State University) years playing basketball or as a Post Office Employee working the front counter at the Livonia Merriman Rd Post Office. She loved helping people and was a dedicated, smiling face to her customers and colleagues.

Ann was strong in her faith and always put her kids and family first. Never asking for anything in return, she made sure that everyone else was okay. Sharing the traditions of family with her kids was something she held dear to her heart.

She will be forever in the hearts of all who had the opportunity to know and love her.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Ann Roy Funeral Memorial Fund at www.gofund.me/92edd0d5.
