June Reed

June R. Reed of Canton passed away peacefully February 7, 2026 at the age of 98. She was born November 16, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Mary Pirkola.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Reed.

Loving mother of Bill (the late Patricia) Reed, Susan (John) Hale, Fred (Carole) Reed, and Jim (Lorie) Reed.

Dearest grandmother of Grant (Tricia), Brent, John (Marcy), Jared (Jennifer), Katherine (Bryan), Scott (Helen), Daniel, Lindsey, and Jacob.

Dear great-grandmother of Grace, Shane, Luke, Elena, William, Sophia, Henry, Anna, and Lawrence.

June was predeceased by her sister Dorothy (Jim) Clinton.

June with her unwavering positive outlook on life, cherished by family and friends was considered the sweetest most kind person anybody knew. When not spending time with her family she loved reading and watching nature shows. June enjoyed her work at Livonia Public Schools as a secretary for over 30 years.

Visitation Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 3 - 8 pm with a funeral service at 7 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154.

Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan.
