Joanne Papler

Joanne A. Papler (nee Darlak), age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 16, 2017. Loving wife of 62 years to the late Robert. Beloved mother of Robert D. (Annette Baker), Laura Savard (John), Dawn Dorsey (Ricky), Nancy Papler Kinjorski (Charles Van Ert), and Trudy Kortes (Andrew). Cherished Babczi of Jacob and Emily Kinjorski, Bradley and Patricia Savard, Ryan, Evan, and Cathryn Kortes, and Richard Dorsey. Dearest great grandmother of Aaliyah and Dylan. Cherished sister of Stella Zielinski, and the following deceased: Frank, Jack, Lottie, Eddie, Tony and Sophie. Joanne was an Avid bowler and golfer. She visited many casinos to play slots and black jack. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 30200 Five Mile (between Middlebelt and Merriman) with a Rosary at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 11am at St. Gerald’s Catholic Church 21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington. Instate at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre.
