George Steve Zimbalatti, age 84, passed away peacefully March 16. Loving husband of Concetta. Beloved father of Steve (Jill), Chris and John. Loving son to the late Antonio & Catarina Zimbalatti. Dear brother to the late Carmela Zimbalatti, Dr. Joseph Zimbalatti and late wife Nives (nee Marcuz), Uncle to Diane & Sal Caruso, Dr. Dave & Andrea Woody, Joe & Heidi Zimbalatti, Christina Zimbalatti and Rob, Mark & Crystal Zimbalatti. Dear brother to Dr. Anthony Zimbalatti and wife Angela, Aunt to Cathy, Patricia, Michael Waring & Jeannie Zimbalatti, and Anthony. Brother in law to Theresa Ciccone and uncle to Dr. Rocco Ciccone. Family will receive friends Sunday 3-9 PM at the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 30200 Five Mile Rd (between Middlebelt and Merriman). Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM at St. Valentine Church 14841 Beech-Daly Rd, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48239. In state 9:30 AM until mass begins. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
