George Carfes, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 12. Preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Nicholas. Loving husband of 56 years to Nancy. Beloved father of Kristen Carfes, Kourtney Krohn and Kristopher Carfes. Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Chelsea, Nicholas, Ethan and Zachary, and great-grandfather of Justin and Violet. Dearest brother of Milton and Kay. The family has decided not to plan services at this time.
