It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick Allen Kaluzny of New Boston, MI. He passed Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 74.

Patrick was born on April 29, 1952, in Detroit, MI, to Anthony and Dorothy Kaluzny. He was the second of three children. After graduating from Riverside High School in 1970, Pat continued his education at Henry Ford Community College. He would later dedicate many years of his career to the automotive industry at Ford Motor Company where he would eventually retire from in 2007.

Pat was a man who found joy in simple pleasures and brightened the lives of those around him. He had a real love of antique cars which led him to building his dream home with an 8-car garage attached. A truly passionate man about automobiles, he enjoyed attending car club events and meetings with his friends – every Wednesday was dedicated to the car club with his friends at a local restaurant. He also loved going on short bus trips to different destinations in the U.S. Always maintaining his circle, Pat met monthly with his work buddies.

Pat is survived by his siblings; Anthony (Kathy) Kaluzny, and Mary Kaluzny: his nieces; Kristin, Danielle (Michael) Leblanc: and his grand-niece and nephew, Hailey and Bryce. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

Pat is predeceased by his beloved parents, Anthony and Dorothy Kaluzny.

A Memorial Mass for Patrick will be held (please check back for the date and time) at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S Lilley Rd. Canton, MI 48188.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
