A proud alumna of both St Gregory the Great High School in Detroit and St Alphonsus High School in Dearborn, Class of 1971.

Mary Jane pursued her passion for pharmacy at Wayne State University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree and later a Doctorate of Pharmacy. Her post graduate career encompassed teaching at Wayne State University and working for many years at Beaumont Hospital Farmington Hills.

Mary Jane’s professional life was defined by a deep love for pharmacy that extended far beyond her work itself. She built meaningful, lasting relationships with colleagues, students, and everyone she encountered along the way. Known for her intelligence, passion, and generosity, she inspired many to pursue careers in pharmacy and medicine. Her influence reached far and wide, as countless individuals who had the privilege of working with her spoke of the respect and admiration they held for her. She was not only an exceptional pharmacist, but also a trusted colleague, a supportive mentor, and a genuine friend.

Beloved wife of Charles for 51 years. Loving mother of David (Heather) Sudekum, Stephen (Erika) Sudekum, and Jonathan (Emily) Sudekum.
