Lucy Wisniewski

Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Stanley J. Wisniewski. Mother of Joseph S. Wisniewski (the late Christine Fleischer) and Jean (Stephen T.) Zelle. Grandmother of Stephen J. (Dr. Kayla) Zelle and Lauren Zelle. Great-grandmother of Stephen C. Zelle, William J. Zelle and Patrick J. Zelle. Daughter of the late Papken and Rahon Klavanian. Sister of the late Samuel (Alice) Klavanian and John (Margaret) Klavanian. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Lucy was peaceful, kind natured, generous and caring soul. She was proud of her Armenian heritage, as the child of genocide survivors. She learned to cook many traditional Armenian dishes from her mother.

She traveled extensively in her youth, her favorite place being Massena NY, to visit the family she had there. She worked at Rinshed Mason as a secretary in the refinishing department, where she met and fell in love with Stan. They built their life together with their children in Livonia, Michigan, where she lived until her death.

She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness and loving nature. She will be loved and missed by her family and friends. Visitation Tuesday September 22, 2026 4:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48154.
