Louis Alberti

Alberti, Louis, age 88, passed away March 27, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Alberti. Cherished father of Debra (the late William) Schrecengost, Juanita Guerrero, Robert (Esperanza) Guerrero, Jeanne (Dennis) Verbanic, and Karen McGuffie. Dearest grandfather and great grandfather to many. Dear son of the late Secondo Alberti and Mary (Leverette) Powers. Adored brother of the late Ann Petrucci. Louis graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit. He served in the United States Army and retired from the United States Post Office. He lived in Livonia before moving to Battle Creek in 1991 after retirement. He moved to South Lyon in 2017 to be near his family. He loved to watch tv, especially sports and game shows. He enjoyed spending time outside gardening. He also loved to reminisce about his teenage days and the mischief he got into. Louis will be dearly missed. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 45100 Warren Road, Canton, Michigan.
