Kenneth M. Wood, 61, of Canton, Michigan, passed away on February 6, 2025.

Ken was born on April 15, 1963, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Saint James Catholic High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country. Following his military service, he attended Schoolcraft College and began a long and dedicated career with the UAW International, where he worked in maintenance and print shop operations for 37 years.

A longtime resident of Canton, Ken was known for his love of motorcycles, playing pool, cooking, comics, sci-fi, and traveling. He found joy in gathering with friends and family, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories. He was a man of generosity, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. His dedication to his loved ones and his strong work ethic left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Ken was the loving son of Elizabeth and the late Joseph Wood. He was a dear brother to Joseph (Diann), Jane (Derek) Lynch, and Matthew (Kenyon), and was preceded in death by his siblings Timothy and Betty Ann. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ken’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and camaraderie will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Visitation Monday, February 17, 2025 at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home 45100 Warren Rd., Canton, MI 48187 from 5 - 8 pm with a rosary at 6pm. Instate, Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 44800 Warren Rd., Canton, MI 48187 10:30am until the time of mass at 11am. Interment to follow with Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442 at 2pm.
