John Palka, age 75, passed away December 9, 2017. Preceded in death by his wife Corazon, three brothers Frank, Richard and Robert Palka, and sister Dora Palka. Loving father to Ellen Berendt and stepfather to Jamie Hewett. Beloved grandfather of Paul and Marissa Berendt and great grandfather of Brayden Thomas. Dearest longtime companion to Delores Grodzicki. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday December 21, 11:00 am at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 25555 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, 48127.
