Cory Michael Peters, 26, passed away December 19, 2020. Beloved son of Richard and Cheryl Peters. Dearest brother of Zachary Peters, Kyle Peters, Kate (fiancé Justin Swanson) Peters and Richard J. (fiancé Michelle Wilson) Peters. Cherished grandson of Michael Peters. Adored boyfriend of Karri Perion. Cory was predeceased by his grandparents Mary Elizabeth Peters, and Charles and Patricia Elstone. Cory would make small things we took for granted a “moment” in life. A handshake or just a friendly smile meant the world to him. He treasured his family and found passion in the littlest things around him. He would go the extra mile to treat his loved ones, whether it was making a Little Caesars pizza just right, getting the Chili’s discount or always showing up to help out. He gave you the best he had. Cory had a kind childlike heart looking for acceptance and love. He wanted to please others and make them feel special. Looking to never disappoint the people he loved. You never had to worry about having a filter around him. He accepted everyone he met and talked to, making them feel like long time friends. He took value in the time that you spent with him and would let you know he appreciated it. Cory experienced excitement, found fun and wonder in his adventures. Traveling and hiking in Zion, Yellowstone and Glacier National Park were his most treasured times, having the opportunity to have lifetime memories together with his family. He would leave his mark wherever he could, just to say he made it there. Taking the path less traveled, just cause he could, doing what others feared to do. It has been a pleasure Cory, taking us on your journey, we will always love and miss you beyond measure. A visitation will be held Wednesday, 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 45100 Warren Road, Canton. Interment at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
